Warren Averett is seeking a part time Accounting Services Associate for our Cullman office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and be interested in working a hybrid (some in office, some remote) part time schedule of 20-30 hours a week (depending on client demands).
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with multiple clients in providing high value outsourced accounting services
- Preparing monthly financial statements by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
- Performing month-end close procedures such as bank reconciliations, and general ledger processing
- Processing accounts payables for clients
- Processing client payrolls and filing the related payroll tax returns
- Assisting in rolling out new processes within outsourced accounting services
- Identifying efficiencies in the accounting processes for the internal and external team.
- Communicating results with the client and Members
- Ability to budget time and charge time efficiently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 2 years of related experience
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- High degree of computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in an accounting software package such as Intacct, ACS or QuickBooks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to work well in a team environment
