Warren Averett Staffing & Recruiting is seeking multiple IT Help Desk Analysts to support a growing client in the Huntsville, Alabama area.  Analysts will provide technical telephone support for long term healthcare accounts comprised of nationwide skilled nursing and assisted living type facilities; Public Safety accounts, and/or a large E911 Dispatch Center.  Our ideal candidates will possess an Associate's Degree in Computer Science and 1-2 years of experience in computer hardware/software, network connectivity, and other enterprise level environment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support including but not limited to:
    • Account resets and creations
    • Network connectivity and wireless
    • Computer hardware and printers
    • Various software and web applications
    • Windows operating system
    • All Microsoft products
  • Maintain records of correspondence received and responded to
  • Escalate calls to higher tiers of support
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous technical experience in an enterprise level environment is highly desired.
  • Associate’s Degree in a Technical or Computer Discipline or related field is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience with Computer hardware or network support
  • Knowledge of healthcare and/or the Public Safety environment is a plus
  • Experience in customer service is a plus
  • CompTIA Security+, MCITP (Enterprise Desktop Support Technician), A+, HDI Desktop, certifications are all a plus
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality is critical 24/7 coverage is required, must be willing to work after hours and Holidays
