Warren Averett Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced Accountant for a growing Government Contract client in North Alabama. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 2+ years of experience working in a Gov Con accounting environment, and be proficient with Deltek Costpoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day to day Accounting functions in the government contracting arena.
  • Primary duties will include support for the accounting and bookkeeping functions via Deltek Costpoint.
  • General Ledger experience
  • Knowledge in A/P, Contract Billings, Time & Expense
  • Financial Analysis
  • Contract Compliance
  • Working with multiple customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Deltek Costpoint for government accounting functions
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft excel.
  • Must have strong accounting skills in all accounting areas identified above.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast paced environment.
